Accomplishments:
- Awarded "Freshman Commissioner of the Year" by Colorado Counties Inc in 2007
- Led effort to develop on-line records of Board of County Commissioners meetings (see
BCC Hearings)
- Lead effort to schedule controversial hearings in the evening
- Supported community plans in land use decisions
- Led effort to have first-ever, independent 360 review of County Administrator
- Increased staffing in Food Stamp and Child Protection areas without increasing taxes
- Recognized as a leader among leaders by Colorado Counties Inc, Denver Regional
