Welcome! I am Kathy Hartman, Jefferson County Commissioner.
It’s my goal to make sure that the doors of our county government are wide open—we need to make sure that citizens have
easy access to know what’s going on, and have an impact on decisions that are made.
So I encourage you to get involved… visit the Jefferson County website, where you can find agendas for upcoming
meetings, the latest county news, and new summary of all the actions taken by your commissioners, BCC Actions.
Find out who your elected officials are, and send them an email to let them know what YOU think about the decisions they’
re making.
Sign up for my newsletter, and let me help keep you up to date. Or visit my blog at www.jeffcocommish.blogspot.com for
ongoing discussions of local, state, and even national topics.
Send me an email, and tell me what you think about life in Jefferson County.
I’m looking forward to seeing you at meetings, and to hearing from you—I represent YOU, so I want to know what you think.
Thanks for all your support,
